Logistics lettings trio

St. Modwen Logistics continues to benefit from the strong operational demand for quality logistics and industrial space as it announces three new lettings at St. Modwen Park Gloucester and St. Modwen Park Stoke South.

The latest deals saw power plant equipment supplier, Yellow Power, take 27,056 sq ft of space at St. Modwen Park Stoke South, while Clinisupplies has also agreed to occupy a 75,225 sq ft unit at the Midlands-based site. These deals were followed by global energy services and equipment provider, Schlumberger, which signed a pre-let on a 55,000 sq ft unit in Gloucester.

The news follows a series of deals this year, which has seen the developer lease 1m sq ft of space to new customers since the start of 2021, reaffirming the current appetite for urban and big box warehouses. Customer names include DB Schenker, Gardiner Brothers & Co, Super Smart Services, DWK Life Sciences and Euro Star Global – equating to 1,060,769 sq ft of space let across the UK.

“As part of our growth plans we were looking for a site that was well located and would fit our needs now and for the future. Getting our healthcare products to customers quickly is crucial, which is why the location of St. Modwen Park Stoke South fits our requirements perfectly. The site is truly market-leading, and we’re delighted to have secured a building of this quality.”

“Our successful first half of 2021 is testament to the quality of our locations across the country and our commitment to delivering the highest quality product in line with our Swan Standard which puts sustainability and customer needs at the heart of our specification. Looking forward, we are committed to delivering more high-quality big box and urban logistics parks across the UK to meet the increasing demand by our customers and the wider market.”
